Logic Lumber has been serving the building industry since we were officially incorporated in 1984. Initially the staff consisted of Tom Dixon –President, Linda Dixon – Secretary Treasurer, and four other employees, in a small rented building. By concentrating on lumber, plywood, drywall, insulation, trusses and metal products, we were able to focus on the needs of our client base, and the business soon outgrew the facilities.

In 1986, a building was purchased, and crane trucks were acquired to accommodate the growing demands of our large commercial and contractor clients. Agricultural buildings, barns and storage sheds were also added to the list.

In 1988, Logic Insulation Ltd. was formed to provide blown-in insulation services, and a year later, an office had been opened in Red Deer, Alberta. A new store was built 10 years later in Red Deer, and was expanded to be a fully stocked lumber yard complete with a full line of building products.

In 2005, The Lethbridge store again saw the need for expansion, and the existing building was built with an increased yard, to house a larger inventory including; windows, doors, flooring, drywall tools, hardware, steel buildings, and custom ordered building products.

Presently Logic Lumber and Logic Insulation is made up of 40-50 employees in Lethbridge & Red Deer. We are all dedicated to making sure that your building project is a success, and we look forward to working with you on into the future.
